Answers to common questions about the alliance, our mission to secure patient data, and how we are building a resilient ecosystem through collaboration.
How do I become a member?
Apply through the HCTA Member Portal. Registration takes a few minutes, and applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee. Once approved you receive a permanent HCTA membership number and a QR credential for event check-in.
Who is eligible to join?
Healthcare cybersecurity practitioners and professionals from hospitals, HMOs, laboratories, pharmacies and other healthcare service providers, in both the private and public sectors. That includes CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, data protection officers, IT and security practitioners, clinical informatics leads and academics working in healthcare.
Can my whole organisation join?
Yes. A corporate membership covers one organisation account with seats for your staff, each of whom receives their own membership ID. Your administrator invites them by code and manages the seats from the portal.
How can I become a sponsor?
Sponsorship supports the alliance’s forums, general membership meetings and programmes, with tiers from Silver to Titanium. Contact the secretariat and we will send the prospectus.
How do I become a partner?
We work with associations, ISACs and industry bodies on joint programmes and memoranda of understanding. Contact us and we will arrange a conversation with the board.
How can we join the events?
Members register for events through the Member Portal and check in with their QR credential. Selected events are open to non-members by invitation — see what is coming up or contact us.
I already have an account but cannot sign in.
Use the password reset link on the portal. If the reset email does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then email us and we will verify your membership record.
How does HCTA handle my personal data?
We process personal data in accordance with Republic Act 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and how to exercise your rights as a data subject.
